Bram vancauwenberghe & marie Brumagne David
Bram and Marie met in 2008 in Brussels. Bram studied political science and film, while Marie studied documentary filmmaking. Together, they directed and produced their first feature film, “Remember Your Name, Babylon.” The film premiered at IDFA in 2015 and was shown at over 40 festivals and cinemas around the world. They won the Grand Prize Carmo Bernardes at FICA in Brazil.They developed the project “Sonic Diplomacy,” an artistic sound research initiative about the life of the underground. The project was part of Kent University’s sonic cartography program and was exhibited in 2022 at the Klaipeda Contemporary Museum in 2023. Bram is involved in various experimental permaculture projects and is following a training as a miller. Marie develops different musical projects.
